Ovice‑presidente    da    Conferência    Consultiva    Política  do  Povo  Chinês  (CCPPC)  mostrou‑se  ontem  convicto  de  que  o  Executivo  da  RAEM  irá  cumprir  rigorosamente  as  directrizes  de  Pequim  e  o  princípio  “Um  País,  Dois  Sistemas”  na  orga‑nização da eleição da 7ª Assembleia Legislativa. Durante um encontro para divulgação das ideias centrais das reu‑niões da Assembleia Nacional Popular (ANP) e da CCPPC, Edmund  Ho  disse  esperar  que  os  líderes  associativos  contribuam para assegurar eleições justas e íntegras, sob medidas rigorosas de prevenção e controlo de epidemia. Improving Hong Kong’s electoral system by the Central Government has won broad understanding and support from the international community. The Macao SAR government and all sectors of society have also voiced their support for the decision and practice of the Central Government. O Chefe do Executivo disse que apoia as mudanças no sistema eleitoral em Hong Kong, um projecto de decisão da Assembleia Popular Nacional (APN). As declarações foram proferidas à televisão estatal CCTV no domingo, antes de regressar a Macau depois de participar nas reuniões magnas do Partido Comunista Chinês.
“A alteração do sistema eleitoral em Hong Kong é muito importante, pelo que nós, enquanto Região Administrativa Especial de Macau, também emitimos imediatamente uma declaração. Instado a esclarecer a questão dos candidatos patriotas, o presidente da CAEAL foi taxativo. O sistema em vigor em Macau é suficiente para garantir candidatos patriotas. “A lei eleitoral já prevê que qualquer candidato tem de mostrar a sua fidelidade à RAEM, à Lei Básica e à República Popular da China.
